Biography: I have been teaching in Hempfield Area School District since 1991.
At that time, I started as a day to day substitute teacher. In 1993, I gained my first long term substitute position, at East Hempfield Elementary in Second Grade. The following year, I was hired as a long term substitute, in second grade at West Point Elementary. My first year at West Hempfield Elementary was in 1995 as a long term substitute, as a fourth grade teacher. That October I was hired full time. I completed my year as a fourth grade teacher then took the second grade position where I am currently.
